What settings should I have on my phone for recording the best quality video?
The recommended video format is .MP4 or .MOV. For a longer video, less than 60MB or 1 minute, set your recording device to 720p at 30fps.
How do I adjust my phones video settings?
iPhone
1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
2. Click on Camera.
3. Select Record Video.
4. Select the appropriate resolution. 720p at 30fps is recommended.
How long can my video be?
For best results, keep your video recording to 1 minute or less. This will keep the file size smaller and faster to upload. The recommended video file size is 75MB or less.
Video not working?
Android NFC readers are in the middle of the phone. A pop socket will cause a delay in reading the cards. Certain phone cases will preempt the NFC from properly being read. If this happens, take the phone out of the case. Some may use a phone finger holder which may also pose an issue reading the chip.
Check the instructions enclosed with your card. If you have an iPhone X or later, you can simply place or hover the phone over the right interior panel of your card and it should play automatically.
For iPhones 8 and 9, download any generic app for NFC reading. Once it is downloaded, you should be able to view videos quickly and easily.
For Android users, please remember to activate the NFC function in your phones’ “Connections.”
